The Architecture

Fountaingrove Lodge draws its inspiration from the Craftsman style of architecture. This building style, popularized in the early 1900s, is distinguished by its distinctive eaves, low pitched gabled roofs, decorative braces, and wide front porches framed by square columns.

Craftsman style buildings and interiors feature fine woodwork and the use of natural materials and finishes. Great care has been taken to place the buildings in a way that conserves as much of the natural beauty and native landscape as possible. The use of stone and wood inside and out echos the native rocks and trees on the site.

A seamless fusion of simplicity and sophisticated detail combined with sensitivity to the natural surroundings result in a community of timeless design.
